Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立清華大學 === 電機工程研究所 === 82 === A signal transmitted through a multipath fading channel will be distroied by the nonideal effects of the channels. It is difficult for the receiver to detect the received signals correctly. In this thesis, we will introduce a reconstructive over- sampling receiver structure consist of a preproce- ssor, a estimator, a postprocessor and a detector. In this reconstructive receiver structure, the pr- eprocessor will extract the sufficient statistics of the channels and the estimator will use these sufficient ststistics to estimate the fading gains of the channel. The postprocessor will reconstruct or compensate the received signal by the estimated channel gains and the detector can detect the sig- nal infomations by the reconstructive signals. In this receiver structure we try to implement the o- versampling techinques in the preprocessor. After applying oversampling on the preprocessor, The re- ceiver will extract more sufficient statistics fr- om the fading chennls. If the oversampling rate is fast enough the resolution of the delay paths of the multipath fading channel caused by multipath effect will increase. In the other word, it is an- other wind-band technique implementation. In this thesis, we will introduce some early works about the receivers for multipath fading channels in ch- apter 1. In chapter 2, we will introduce the char- acteristics of the multipath fading channels. In chapter 3, the influences for implementing oversa- mpling techniques in the receiver will be discuss- ed. In chapter 4, we will design a practical over- sampling receiver structure. We will derive a bit error probability upper bound by doing the perfor- mance analysis of that practical receiver. in cha- pter 5 and design a program simulator of the prac- tical receiver and show some simulation results. We give a conclusion about this oversampling rece- iver in chapter 7.
