Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 土木工程研究所 === 82 === In Taiwan, very often there are heavy afternoon thunder storm in summer. It causes the roads flooding in the cities and jams the traffic. Traditionally, the design of surface runoff drainage if based on rational formula. The rational formula is easy to use, but it can not get the flow field and water depth distriution. This thesis develops a 2-D numerical model to predict the flow field and water depth distribution for different rainfall in- tensity, road width, gutter interval, inclinition of road. In the thesis, we use Mac Comack finite differenc scheme which has good stability and convergence properties. It also has second order accuracy in time and space in linear system. The governing equation is 2-D hydrodynamic wave equation which is derived from Navier Stoke equation after depth average procedure. We also put wind shear and moving car pressure on free surface to determine whether their effects are important. By experimental verifi- cation, the numerical model gives a reasonal prediction of the flow field and water depth distribution once the parameters are given. The wind shear will have a great effects on flow field. The car pressure do''nt have significant effects on flow field unless the car moves very closeto the gutter.
