Twenty- eight compounds have been isolated from the extract of Cassia fistula L. Those were four long chain compound, there glycerol derivative , two sterols, one aromatics compound, one benzoquinone , three anthrquinones, one stibene compound, one dihydroch- alcone, one flavanone, two flavones, five flavan-3- ols , and two proanthocyanidins .
