Scientist of related disciplines will be invited to recommend areas to be protected , and then evaluated , implemented . The protected areas individual thus created are unrelated . For these reasons , we have to protect , conserve , document and manage those special geomorphological landsca- pes systematically . It could makes these geomorphological landscapes in Taiwan away from the destoryof unsuitable development and recreation , and then uses these landscape rationally . This study is going to suggest a framework for special geomorphological landscapes protected area system . And put it into work in the East Coast National Scenic Area .This study includes the selectes sites of the special geomorphological landscapes , site documentes and proposes conservation principles.
