Description
Summary:碩士 === 東海大學 === 應用化學系 === 82 === The electrochemistry of nickel(I) tetraamine complexes, and the reactions of the nickel(I) complexes,[NiL]+,with alkyl halides have been investigated in nonaquous media containing tetrabutylammoniun perchlorate. The reaction is proposed to occur in two steps, the first and rate-determining step being one-electron transfer from [NiL]+ to RX,by either halogen atom transfer or inner-sphere electron transfer to yield an alkyl radical R‧.The latter is captured by [NiL]+,in the second and more rapid reaction. The current/potential curves of the electrocatalytic reaction were analyzed to obtain the slope of the reactions fort-C4H9 > s-C4H9 > n-C4H9 >i-C4H9 are consistent with a radical and inner-sphere mechanism.
