guidelines of lighting design for classrooms.By means of
performing the scenarios of different heights , locations and
numbers of lighting fixtures, we can figure out how these
factors The steps taken in this study are as following : (1)
Collecting the information and articles on lighting design in
classrooms both in domestic and overseas to find out the
deficiency of the past design. (2) Conducting fields studies to
realize the situation of current lighting environments. (3)
Simalating the installation and arrangement of lighting
fixtures by using the principles of design layouts. (4)
Combining theories and conclusions of the experiment to explore
the guidelines of lighting design in classrooms. The
methodology and design guidelines developed from this study can
be used to help the decision-makers not only in the renovation
of old classrooms but also in the new construction. And they
will get benefits from this study to guarantee the good quality
of lighting design in classrooms.
