In this paper, we firstly describe mathematic and differential properties of variable radius offset curve,and we also state the difficulty of constructing offset radius function for the design of variable radius offset curves in computer graphic applications. In order to design variable offset curve effectively and friendly, we present one method to slove the problem, via moving the control points of cubic Bzier curve to generate the radius offset funtion. The algorithm will be discussed for further analysis. Furthermore, we provide a method to directly manipulate the interior points of variable radius offset curves. By point to point,we can manipulate shape of variable radius offset curves freely. The advantages of conventional interpolation mathods are also kept in the method.
