many years twenty years by physicians for patients with
chronic renal failure.The impreciseness in definding adequacy
of dialysis has permitted a wide spectrum of dialysis
prescription and varied considerably.This uncertainty or
vagueness may be ated by fuzzy set theory. The study wants to
develop a fuzzy trol strategy for adequate hemodialysis.Three
observed variables are selected as time-average concentration
of BUN (TAC), protein catabolic rate(PCR)and middle(or large)
molecular substance ance(MCL).The control action variables
include the value of Kt/V (urea clearance K、dialysis time t
and patient''s urea volume V), nutrition of protein (NUP) and
dialyzer performance for larger molecular substance (DLZ).A
practical software operating on per- sonal computer is
established. It can serves as a helpful tool for physician to
prescribing adequate hemodialysis. During the phase of
setting the ranges of fuzzy variables and the modification of
control rules in the fuzzy control agy, the time series
analysis which includes the part of time domain and frequency
domain is applied.Trying to obtain the acteristics of given
series and predict the comming values from the series, we take
the ARIMA ( Autoregressive integrated moving average ) model by
Box & Jenkins into our consideration in time domain.
Relatively,the frequency domain analysis can tell us the
characteristics of period in the same data. The long-term
time series analysis proposed here could help physicians in ion
of the fuzzy control strategy effectvely for adaquate
dialysis,and the improvement of medical treatment.
