According to the requirements of manufacturing for the printed circuit boards on the production line, we conducted a research on the accurate and meaningful measurements and adjustments for the printed circuit boards. To aim at the goal, we designed a system with an adjustment mechanism and a single-chip based controller for the adjustment of potentiometers on the printed circuit board. The mechanism is managed by the controller to adjust the potentiometers on the printed circuit board depending on the measuring results by the controller.In this controller ,we adopt Binary Search Method as the adjustment strategy based on the adjusting experiences from our experiments, and implement the overall operations of this method. The system can save much labor and other expensive measurement instruments, such as oscilloscope, and offers a handy, regular method to reduce the effects of "Try and Error" method.
