Some different points from the previous systems can be listed as followed : 1.The hardware : (1) LVDTs with large stroke are employed in this developing system. The types of the LVDTs are the TESA GT-62 with ±5 mm stroke and novotechnik F220 g with ± 10 mm stroke individually. (2) The link is composed of 4 shafts. Two of these rods are removable during the setting. The purpose of this simple arrangement of the link is to reduce the uncertainty and the cost. (3) The setting block provides 7 different lengths for absolute various contouring length. (4) The elements of the hardware mostly are the standard units. (5) For the different contouring radii, which can be obtained conveniently, the LVDT can be set outward or inward in the link to provide different contouring radii. 2.The software : (1) The determination of the contouring starting and ending points from all sampling data. (2) The cost of the manufacturing work is reduced. (3) This system can provide non-circular contouring path such as an ellipse. (4) It can be analyzed the sampling data with the different camping types of the LVDTs. In the thesis, the errors of CNC machine tools is introduced, the developing system is compared with the previous systems. Then the hardware and software of the configure is described. The uncertainty of the system will be studied and given. Finally, the system will be employed to verify the performance of the CNC machine center.
