Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中央大學 === 機械工程研究所 === 83 === As the improving of manufacturing technology, the requiredeat transfer ability is more and more higher. Even the newlyesign of personal computer's CPU is fored to use a lowerperating voltage to reduce heat generation. It's obviously thatbetter technology of heat transfer is indispensable to thendustrial development in the future. In this research, we take experiments on the heat transferbility of a square channel using a Newtonian fluid, water, andnon-Newtonian fluid, carbopol aqueous solution as its workingluid. In addition, we design a X-type insertion to enhance theeat transfer ability of a peripheral uniform heating squarehannel. The results conclude that when using non-Newtonianluids in a square channel, the heat transfer ability is 2.3imes of that of pure forced convection. After adding the X-typensertion, the heat transfer ability is improved to 2.8 times ofhat of pure forced convection, even 3.08 times sometimes. Thisroves that our design works very well.
