The conve- rter adopts a frond-end diode rectifier so that only one active switch is required. The converter draws sinusoidal ac current from the ac source with nearly unity input power factor while operting at a fixed switching frequency. Moreover, this paper shows that the active input power factor correction stage is also used to regulate the converter output voltage. We derived some useful functions of discontinuous mode CUK type ac to dc converter, based on Vorperian's PWM switch model, so as to realize the stability analysis of the system. Finally, some selected experimental results are presented to verify the proposed theory. Shun-Hsyung Chang 李榮乾 1995 學位論文 ; thesis 96 zh-TW
