The high voltage and current of a transistor will not exist simulaneously,so the collector(drain) efficiency is high. Three RF power amplifiers are realized with collector efficiencies of 73%,78% and 64% respectively at 105MHz/2W and 470MHz/3W. They are achieved by class D and class E techniques. The design rules and implemeneation procedures are presented in detail.
