The seated working postures of the last 10 min. of a 50 min. sitting tasks of each subject were video recorded using a 2D motion analysis system and the sitting postures were examined. The center of gravity (COG) of the subject were registered by a ground reaction forces system. Subjective rating of body part dis- comfortable level was recorded at the end of each session. Experimental data indicated that: (1) Subjects'' trunk were maintain more straight either in a larger table-chair-vertical- distance or in a larger seat-inclination-angle. There was more lumbar lordosis when subjects were seated in a seat with a larger seat-inclination angle. (2) There was a larger anteflexion of the upper-arm and a larger trunk-thigh angle of the pregnant sub- jects than that of the non-pregnant. (3) An increase of the seat- inclination-angle would move the COG forward. There was a more left-ward COG of the pregnant group than that of the non-pregnant . (4) Rating data indicated that most of subjects considered it was uncomfortable to perform a sitting task with a seat- inclination-angle of 20°. It was recommended in this study that (1) The 10°seat- inclination- angle is recommendable for the pregnant women while performing a sitting task. (2) The table-chair-vertical-distance should range from 30 cm to 35 cm. (3) An arm-rest and back- support must be considered in the design of a seated workstation for pregnant women. (4) The rollers-added chair could be feasible to increase mobility but an attention should be paid to the maintaing of stability. Lee Yung Hui 李永輝 1995 學位論文 ; thesis 83 zh-TW
