In general,the application of structural control is confined in the area of determination of the optimal structural design which related to control system such as TMD system.It is also desired to achieve the expecting control effects and assure the safty tolerance for the concerned structural system which has been disturbed. Due to some inveniences resulted in traditional control theory, a fuzzy control theory is employed for substitute traditional control with fuzzy control theory. Two disturbances to structures ( potal frame and two-story shear building ) are herein analysed to obtain the structral performances under such two disturbances ( sine wave and general seismic ground motion ) ,The differences between traditional control and fuzzy control is thus examined. In addition, a special studys related to AMD control system are given to more attention to investigate the optimal ratio of AMD mass with total mass of structure as following description. The comparison of two methods are also studied to determine the better selection for various combinations of AMD and mass of original frame. The less energy consumption produced by control forces is betterprior to energy conservation, the control of story drift is still the main concern in this research.
