This technology enhances traditional method for staff training, testing, production development, and analysis. Most important, it provides cost savings that are critical to remaining economically competitive. Although there are some standards such as IEEE 1278-1993 the application level protocol to provide guideline to development DIS application, it invokes a lot of knowledge area include DIS architecture, application protocol, communication protocol, share database, and share model. Therefore development a DIS application is still a difficult task. In this thesis, we provide an object- oriented approach to development a DIS application framework. The main goal of DIS application framework is to encapsulate the distributed fact. Simulator developers, who use DIS application framework, consider that the simulation environment is in a single computer, and do not need take care of the communication protocol. Moreover, the systems build by DIS application framework can be dynamically extended. As a new simulator joins into the simulation environment, the only task is to extend the simulated entity database.
