Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立交通大學 === 土木工程學系 === 84 === Nowadays the rapid growth of the construction, in every respect, of our country result in the shortage of engineering resources. Utilization of great amount of sand from rivers makes river sand defficient day by day. On the other hand, Taiwan is an island and it is around by the seas. There is a tremendous amount of sea sand. As for the sea sand, it contains much salt and chloride ion. As engineering resources, sea sand has the bad effect upon the guality of civil engineering. Therefore, it is the essential purpose of this paper that aim at the idea to resolve the problem of chloride ion containing concrete. Addition of chloride ion in different kind of concentrations into concrete in order to understand it*s influence upon the compressive strength and dynamic modulus of elasticity of concrete is the essential aim of this paper. Addition of slag to replace a part of cement in concrete might increase the durability of concrete. Water soluble chloride process and acid soluble chloride process are the common used methods for the determination of chloride ion concentration in concrete. These methods enable the chloride containing concrete that it might be used under proper condition in order to resolve the problem of shortage of sand supply in civil engineering. It also indicates that these two properties have alike developing tendency. The ratio of chloride ion concentration in the determination by water soluble chloride process and acid soluble chloride process may decrease smutaneously according to the elongation of time. But the sample that coming from water cement ratio or water curing process shows much lowing concentration of chloride ion.
