Electrolytic In-process Dressing (ELID) grinding technology provides a good solution for these drawbacksof traditional grinding technology, but the best sets of voltage andcurrent of ELID power supply for ELID grinding technology is still unknown now. The traditional ELID power supply cannot provide enough flexibilityfor ELID research. In this thesis, a new ELID power supply is implemented,and the topology used for this power supply is buck- current-fed full bridgeswitching mode power supply . Finally it is found that this new ELID powersupply simulates traditional ELID power supply in practical grinding, which can be an excellent experiment table and have more flexibility for further ELID research.
