The result of research showed that there are two kinds of adaptative behavior for expectant mothers with diabetes mellitus during dietary control which were the assimilative behavior and accommodative behavior, total 7,805 behavior units. According to the calculation for all behavior units per unit time, there were 1,424.9 behavior units after standardization, among which the assimilative behavior was the major part, shared 73.0% which indluded three different behaviors: information collecting behavior, comparing behavior and identifying behavior. The accommodative behavior share was 27.0% which included three different behaviors: approaching behavior, avoiding behavior, and reserving behavior. Through the successive and circular operation of assimilative and accommdative behaviors, as a result of interacted assistance, balanced adaptation was achieved for expectant mothers herselves and her fetus when encounter with changes of situation. For the analysis of adaptative behaviors for expectant mothers with gestational diabetes mellitus herselves and her fetus, 87.1% shared indicated the adaptative behaviors of expectant mothers and the adaptative situation for her fetus which included four ways: the physical symptom (body structure, body function and body status), pregnant birth situation (medical treatment, birth situation), living style (dietary style, activity style) and social functions (the function of mother's role, social characters). The share for the adaptative behavior of fetus was 12.9% which included two ways: the physical symptom of fetus (body appearance, body function and body situation), social characters (individual temper, social property).
