Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 資訊工程學研究所 === 84 === Distributed Interactive Simulation is an American government
(DARPA) and industry initiative to define an infrastructure
for linking simulations of various types at multiple locations
to create realistic, complex, virtual worlds for the simulation
of highly interactive activities.
This thesis will introduce my work on the implementation of a
Distributed Interactive Simulation system. The system is
implemented according to some parts of DIS specifications,
which are applicable to Virtual Reality (VR) applications.
Based on the system, a demonstration application of Virtual
Reality has been developed to display feasibility of DIS. The
problems about implementation are also discussed in the thesis.
