Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 造船及海洋工程學研究所 === 84 === For the purpose of establishing Autonomous Underwater Vehicle related technologies, NTU NAOE had begun AUV research project since August 1992. Fundamental research period is expected to be finished within 3 years. Therefore, we hope to construct hardware and software in the same time to accelerate the development progress. In this article, we propose a virtual prototyping design methodology and an integrated development environment to assist AUV design. Using this environment, we identify the feasibility of 'intelligent real time controller architecture' that we propose in this thesis. By this way, we start writing AUV control programs even when the AUV hardware is unavailable. This fulfills our goal of fast prototyping of the AUV system.
