Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 工程技術研究所 === 84 === Design collaboration requires a common design representation
among all design participants. The common representation is not
merely used as a means to represent design contents, but also
as media of design operation and communication. The purpose of
this thesis is to discuss common design representation that can
be used in participatory housing design processes. The
discussion excludes issues regarding social activities for
motivating and organizing users'' participation, and focuses on
the incorporation of design knowledge to enable users without a
design background to actively participate in the design
process. Systematic design methods are used as the theoretical
basis for the representational model. The research process
consists of two stages. The first stage includes the review of
systematic design methods and case study. In the second stage,
a design system is defined and experimented. The result of the
experiment is analyzed to reveal the potent- ial and critical
issues.
