development strategy of layered construction method for high-
rise buildings.Layered construction method is one of the major
construction methods applied in high-rise buildings to improve
the construction efficiency and productivity. According to the
construction life cycle, the constructability problems of
layered construction are identified to reduce the construction
conflicts. The plans for pre-construction, design, and
construction are developed to assist the managers in the
implementation of the construction method. Based on the
results of this study, a computerized information system for
carrying out the method is establishe Also, to identify the
criteria and conditions for using the layered construction
method, this study conducts an economic analysis by comparing
the traditional method with the layered method. This study not
only explores the constructability problems, but also
identifies the development strategy for the application of the
layered construction method in high-rise building
constructions. With the aid of the computerized system,
engineers can inq Thus,the construction efficiency and
productivity can be improved.
