Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 營建工程技術學系 === 84 === In this study , shaking table tests and time history an alysis of a model structure are carried out to inve- stigate the seismic response of R.C. frames with partially infilled walls . The model structure is a 3-story , 2- bay , 0.3 scale R.C. frame without fulfilling some seismic requirements , such as strong column-weak beam , beam- column joint transverse reinforcement , special transverse reinforcement in column ends ; in addition , the 1/3-story height infilled walls make the columns shorter , which in- creases shear force of the columns . Experimental results shows that : (1) the model structure is capable of resist Taft earthquake of EPA equals to 0.46g , (2) plastic deformation is observed at columns near the top of infilled walls and the region below beam- column joints , (3) the stiffness of the structure de- grades dramatically during large earthquakes due to the presence of cracks . Analytical investigation reveals that : (1) link elements in DRAIN-2DX can be use to simulate the crack between infilled walls and columns , (2)the stiffness of beam- column joint plays a significant role in structure stiffness when cracks formed in the joint , (3) the simple rotational connection element in DRAIN-2DX can be used to simulate beam-column joint behavior .
