碩士 === 文化大學 === 西洋文學學系 === 84 === The goal of this thesis is, to make clear of the thematic and grammatical structure and communicative function of three news examples. The whole thesis is divided into four chapters. In chapter one, the theme, goal and background of thesis are introduced. The present research of discourse analysis is mentioned too. Theoretic bases and analytic techniques are introduced in chapter two. Methods of text construction are classified as three categories, i.e. syntactic, semantic and pragmatic category. In chapter three, three news examples are analyzed. According to these analytic results, it comes to a conclusion in chapter four. This thesis is drawn up to practice the basic concepts and techniques of discourse analysis, not only for Chinese, but also for German discourse. It is necessary, such research on a large scale continuously to do.
