They are not only similar in the policical status a ndeconomical development. They have close boundary relationship and are closel y linked in their the aspects of history and culture. However, theirunificatio n policies and strategic behavior are slightly different. Hence the main purpo se of this thesis research is to analize the similarity and differencebetween the unification policies of China and Korea to see if there are placeswhere by the can supplement each other and learn from each other. This thesis is di vided into six chapters. They are as follows: I.Introductory remarks. II.The background of split and unification policy.III.The comparison between the unif ication view-points. IV.The comparison between the policy implementation organ izations. V.The comparison between the courses of action. VI.Conclusion Ba sed on the above research, four different places are discovered as follows: I .The reasons for the split are different which causes the discrepancy of the unification policies. II.The internal and external unification environments are different with different unification view-points.III.It can be seen f rom the names of the implementation organization that the degrees of desir e of the governments towards unification are different. IV.In the course of ac tion, the governments play different roles.
