By comparing the displacement and stress distributionof concentrated tangential forces acting on the surface of quarter- spacesolid with the displacement and stress distribution of conterated trangentialforces acting on the surface of halfr- space solid , we find that the valuesof the quarter-space solid is larger than the values of the half-spacesolid . The reason may be due to the the distribution of the material isnot equal . The displacement and stress distributions of quarter-space solidwere found to be very distributed and matching the physical meaning .
