Therefore, many manufacturers hire foreign laborers to solve these problems. The growing international competition that Taiwan manufacturers confront has increased the need for them to become more competitive by improving management of foreign laborers. 140 questionnaires were sent to P and T companies and 103 usable questionnaires (with a 73.57 percent valid response rate) were received. To analyze the relationship between job satisfaction and overseas adjustment of Philippine female laborers in Taiwan and to test the research hypothesis, Pearson product-moment correlation, canonical correlation analysis, ANOVA, Fisher''''s Z transformation and test were adopted in this study. Results indicate that (a) there is significant positive correlation between job satisfaction and overseas adjustment; (b) satisfaction with Taiwanese colleagues is strongly related to life adjustment and culture adjustment, while satisfaction with job itself and managerial policy are strongly related to culture adjustment; (c) job satisfaction of the Philippine female laborers who have stayed in Taiwan for 19 to 24 months or have been in the current position for 13 to 18 months is insignificantly correlated with overseas adjustment; (d) difference in background exerts no significant effect on both job satisfaction and overseas adjustment.
