jasminoides. Our previous experiment revealedthey are inhibitor
of tumor promotion induced by TPA. And we wated to further to
study whether crocetin and geniposide can induce the expression
of GST. First, we amplified Yb cDNA with RT-PCR. Then Yb cDNA
was inserted into PGEM 3Z(f)+ and transformation. We have
isolated a Yb-subunit clone and prepared Yb cDNA from Yb-subunit
clone for probe labelling. We treated primary culture of rat
hepatocyteswith crocetin or geniposide, and prepared RNA to
proceed to northern blotting.As a result, crocetin or geniposide
can induce the expression of GST. In the other hand,the
expression of GST RNA was enhanced when hepatocytes were treated
with crocetin and TPA.
