has an exponential distribution with a parameter μ. In this
study, we assume that the service time for each customers has a
m-stage hyper-exponential distribution, Hm. In the M/Hm/1
queueing system, its stationary distribution P(n), n=1,2,....,
probability generating function and the expected number of
customers in the systemare found. The M/Hm/1 queueing system
generalizes the ordinary M/M/1 queueing system and the M/H2/1
queueing system.
