Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 交通管理(科學)學系 === 85 === Space-discrete flow models of freeways have been applied widely in foreigncountries. In order to understand the applicability of the space-discrete flowmodels in domestic freeway traffic, model verification and validation are performed in this study. In addition, a homogeneous traffic density control method is applied in simulation models to prevent the amplification of traffic congestion. Model verification consists of program debugging, model logic verification, model calibration and sensitivity analysis. First, it introduces the theoretic and structure of the models in details. Then it identifies the parameters by using of the least squares output error method. According to the result of the parameters identified, it reveals that domestic drivers have driving characteristics full of adventure. Besides, the analysis of parameters sensitivity show that when applying the models in different road conditions, we should adopt different speee- density characteristic function. Model validation consists of figure comparison( including speed and volume ), and statistical test ( including the index ofMean Absolute Percentage Error and t-test ). The results of figure comparisonshow that the progression of the model and real traffic have same tendency. The index of MAPE on volume and speedare less than 14% and 10%, and the resultsof t-test also can''t reject the null hypothesis. It can be stated that space-discrete flow models are applicable to domestic freeway traffic. Finally, simulation has been carried out based on the traffic flow characteristics that are created from the traffic data of a domestic freeway using the adopted macroscopic traffic model. From the simulation of different traffic situation: non- homogeneous traffic flow, partial lane closure and road blockage, it is seen the traffic congestion has been significantly improved by the homogeneous traffic density control method. Pollution and fuel consumptionare also somewhat reduced.
