of parts and relationships offive-axis machine freedom. This
paper presents an intelligent knowledge base forthe cutter
orientation angles in machining free surfaces. The cutter
orientationangles consisting the tile angle and yaw angle are
used to improve the machining quality of parts. Finally, the
cutter location files generated by the suggestioncutter
orientation angles. Throu gh post-processer can obtain the NC
data forfive-axis machining.
