framework for remote-control helicopter. The purpose of this
testing framework is to provide anadaptive environment for
control theorem certification and for flight controller
development of unmanned flight vehicle. The implementation of
thissystem is based on a commercial radio control helicopter and
the dSPACE digitalsignal processing system. The key feature of
this system is that the helicoptercan be manipulated by two
command source in the same time. One is the mastertransmitter in
the pilot''s hand, and the other is the slave transmitter in
theDSP board which implements the flight control law. When
conducting a flighttest experiment, the master transmitter
monitors the movement limit of thehelicopter controlled by the
slave transmitter for safety and avoid terraincollision. This
thesisalso performs attitude control test experiment with
thisflight control testing system. The result proves that this
system is usable,but it also exhibits some remediable weakness
of this system. After improvingand extending this system, we
expect that it has many applications in differentflight control
realm inthe future.
