Summary: | 碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 都巿計畫學系 === 85 === Based on the tendency of residential-commercialmixed use
in Taiwan and ideas of localized urban spaceplanning, we
select a traditionalresidential-commercial block in
CBD of Tainan, andanalysis why people enjoy this form of
space and howit has been formed. By studying what reasons and
keyfactors influences the land-use model in
thisstructure of space, we can then use them as tools toform
this kind of space, and make the livingenvironments
better. In the Chin-Dynasty, people built flexural
roadswhich can be named traditional-alleyway to make uptheir
living space. And then the Japanese dominated, they built
straight roads for cars, and also formedthe blocks in Tainan.
On the space-structure of theseblocks, the character of land-
use is that people liveblock-inner, and consume block-
surrounding. However retail activities along the
streetssurround the block are very active in CBD of Tainan, but
people living block-inner are not disturbed byunpleased
noise of traffic and shopping people. Thiskind of land-use
model forms naturally. The main contents of the thesis
include as follow:1.Examine the development of city
activities, and question to the people living in the selected
block to understand how the residential-commercial blocks
formed. Then we know that the form of roads and scale-
cognition for residents are the important factors.2.
Examine the space structure and land use model, and analysis
the advantages and issues of the blocks in order to meet the
needs of the development in the future.3.Following the
conclusion below, propose the planning guide lines and
criteria of residential and commercial mixed use for
the selected block, including the plan of land-use
control, space-designing principles, building controls,
expedient of encouraging.
