Summary: | 碩士 === 國立體育學院 === 體育研究所 === 85 === The purposes of the study were to (1)investigate the difference of value orientation of physical education curriculum (VOPEC) for elementary school teacher; (2)discuss the VOPEC from different background including gender, the years of teaching experience (TE), educational background (EB), and their position (P) in school. Value Orientation Inventory (VOI) (Ennis & Chen, 1993) including Disciplinary Mastery (DM), Learning Process (LP), Self-Actualization (SA), Social Reconstruction (SR), Ecological Integration (EI) value orientation was used as test instrument. A total of 800 subjects was selected by stratified clusters from all of Taipei city elementary school teachers in 1997. Four hundred and forty-five validated questionnaires were used to analyze data. Independent t test was used to test the difference of VOPEC between gender. One-way ANOVA was used to test the difference of VOPEC among TE, EB, and P.TE was included below 10 years (GI), 11-20 years (G2), and over 20 years (G3). EB was included PE major (PG) in Normal University (College), non-PE major (non-PG), and PE major but not in Normal University (College)(PEG), P was included home room teachers (HG), expert athletics teacher (EG), and supervisor or leader (SG). □= .05. The finding were as follows:
.Forty-one percent of teachers have only one VOPEC. Eight percent of teacherss have two VOPEC.
.The sequence of VOPEC was DM, SP, LP. EI, and SA, respectively.
.The sequence of VOPEC for both male and female teachers were influenced by their teaching determination. The sequence of VOPEC for male teachers was DM, LP. EI, SR, and SA. However, the sequence of VOPEC for female teachers was DM, SR, LP. EI, and SA.
.Male teachers have a significant higher (p<.05) of DM than female teachers. Howere female teachers have a significant higher (□<.05) of SR than male teachers. No significant difference was found in LP, EI, and SA between gender.
.GI have a higher (p<.05) of SR than G2. However, no difference was found between G1 and G3; G2 and G3, respectively.
.A significant difference (p<.05) of EI was found among EB. However, no different was found in EI between PG and non-PG, non PG and PEG, PG and PEG by Scheffe post hoc t test.
.No difference was found in VOPEC among P.
