Summary:碩士 === 國立交通大學 === 電信研究所 === 85 === In this thesis, we implement a 64-QAM IF transceiver based on commercial chips, which work well in a cable modem system experiment. In addition, we design a low phase noise RF upconverter to upconvert the 43.75MHz IF 64-QAM signal to 450-750MHz band. The BER (Bit Error Rate) test results show that the 64-QAM transmission system using our RF upconverter encountered only 3dB power penalty at BER=1e-6 when comparing to the theoretical limit.
