碩士 === 國立交通大學 === 應用藝術研究所 === 85 === The thesis consists of two parts: the first is the sound recording "Juang, Shu-Fen Piano Recital" , the second is the paper discussing pedaling and articulation of Tsung-Hsien Yang's "Albumblatter from Sansui Shack". The cassette of "Juang, Shu- Fen Piano Recital" is a live recording of the concert on June/21/1997, containig five musical compositions: Beethoven's Piano Sonata op.109, Chopin's Preludes op.28(selections), Brahms' Sonata for Clarinet and Piano op.120 no.1. Bartok's Suites op.14, and Tsung-Hsien Yang's "Albumblatter from Sansui Shack". As a supporting document, the paper presents first a general description of the piece, "Albumblatter from Sansui Shack", and then some specific technical discussions concerning the performance practice. It is arranged into three chapters: the general background and brief analysis of the work; pedaling and articulation; some other thoughts on the interpretation.
