Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中央大學 === 化學工程學系 === 85 === Chemical reaction and separation process can be carried out simultaneouslyin a unit. This combined process, called reactive distillation, may give remarkable benefits inn energy cost. The reactive distillation process is more complex than the conventional distillationn process by considering both of chemical reactionn annd phase equilibra at the same time. Because the influence of chemical reaction on the distillation process can''t be neglected, both the phase equilibrium and the chemical reaction equilibrium must be concerned. In this work, the vapor-liquid equilibrium(VLE) was measured with consideration of chemical reaction equilibrium. The measured VLE data were correlated by the associationn of acetic acid in the vapor phase. Diagrams showing the experimental data and the calculated composition surfaces were plotted as a function of temperature. From these diagrams we can conclude that azeotrope does not exist for this quaternary mixture.
