Because the consequent part of the fuzzy rules is a linear model. Hence, the simple linearstate feedback control technique could be employed. This makes the design method easier. However, the practical system might have the unpredictive parameter variations. Then the operating point will vary over time. So weshould adjust the parameters of the controller on line as the operating pointvaries. Finally, we combine these two concepts to propose the adaptive fuzzycontroller design method using the Sugeno type of fuzzy logic system. By thesimulationresults of the example,we could find that the proposed method makethe performance response to track the desired trajectory well.
