Based on the Eigen-Decompositioned Artificial Neural Network
(EDANN), two methods, namely Approaching Method (AM) and
Shifting and Approaching Method (SAM), are proposed in this
thesis for computing the most unstable and all unstable modes
of the system, respectively. It is concluded from the studied
cases that the proposed methods are computationally effective
and efficient. Keywords: Eigen-Decompositioned Artificial Neural
Network, approaching, shift approaching, reduced order.
