Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 毒理學研究所 === 85 === Territrem B (TRB), a fungal metabolite isolated from Aspergillus terreus 23-1, is a tremogenic mycotoxin which does not contain nitrogen.By treatment with phenobarbital, TRB metabolism in liver microsomes from Wistar rats can produce three metabolites : MB1, MB2 and MB4. In the metabolism of TRB to MB2, male rats are 30-fold higher than female rats. In the TRB metabolism of TRB to MB4, there are no significant sexual difference in male and female rats. In the castrated male rats, the production of MB2 decrease a lot but stilled higher than female rats. With testosterone implanting, the production of MB2 can recovery 80 %. With estradiol implanting, there are no siginficant recovery in the production of MB2. The results indicated that the production of MB2 is testosterone dependent.
