博士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 森林學系 === 85 === Summary
The weight of plantations were gained more in Taiwan forests.
The thinning and pruning operations are both very important
tending measures. A rating standard should be established to
maintain reasonable operational efficiency. And advanced study
should be undertaken to take new ways or tools to compare
different kind of operational efficiency. This study
was undertaken in the following forests: Chilan Mountain(
belonging to Forest Development Administration),Feng-gang
Mountain(belonging to Taiwan Forest research Institute),
Chi-ton tract(belongs to National Taiwan University
Experiment Forest). The purpose of this study was to
investigate operational efficiency of row thinning and
pruning carried out in the above three forests.
The summary of obtained results is as follows: 1.The
relationship between the felling and bucking time for each
tree and the width of thinned zones was negative related at
1% significant level. That is to say the operational
efficiency could be lifted while increasing the width of
thinned zones. 2.The average
operational efficiency was 9.50,11.21,12.43 and 13.28 m3/day
for the width of 8m,10m,12m and 14m thinned zones
separately. The efficiency was improved 40% while
comparing 14m of thinned zones with 12m. 3.The index
analysis table could be made according land condition
,transporting time, rainy days per month, average tree
volume. 4. The standard
output for felling and bucking could be got from the
index analysis method or standard time method. The
standard output was increasing with the width of thinned
zones. 5. The average
operational efficiency for logging was 10.60m3,and
therewas no obvious tendency between different
thinned zones. By advanced analysis, the
operational efficiency would be influenced by the
time of arranging thinned zones. While deducting the
time, the efficiency had the tendency to increase
with the width of thinned zones.
6.The time of arranging thinned zones was increased
with the row numbers. But the time o row numbers.
7.The index for logging could be calculated according to
the factors which influenced the logging time, and the
standard output could be got by advanced calculation.
On the other hand, the 「standard time method」
could be applied to get standard output. 8. The standard
output for landing could also be got by 「Standard time
method」. 9. The standard output
for pruning could also be got by 「Standard time method
」, and the standard output was 119 trees/day for long
hand saw, 39 trees/day for machine, 43 trees/day for saw
and ladder, 122 trees/day for hand sickle.
10.The relationship between operational efficiency and
allowance rate was related at 1% significant level. 11.The
physiological load could be calculated from heart rate
recorder while doing forest operations. 12.When
the forest operators used the same tool to work, the
difference between R.M.R. was more little. 13.The
relationship between operational efficiency and R.M.R. for
pruning was related at 5% significant level. Because the
forest workers for this study had years of experience for
forest operations, so the operational efficiency and
physiological load could be the collated data for related
works.
