First, the process of a furnace for oxidation is analyzed and then the architecture of a process monitoring system is constructed by the object modeling technique. Based on the system architecture,C++ is used to implement the object-oriented program. The program can analyze the data from equipment on line, handle the alarm, and display the data, alarm as well as equipment state on the screen by a graphic user interface.
