Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 機械工程學系 === 85 === A computer-aided engineering (CAE) program based on the geometric analysis was developed for the stamping die design. In the program, only the geometries of toolings and sheet-blank were taken into consideration, and no plasticity theory was applied to. In order to define the tooling geometries, the three-dimensional surface data were projected onto a selected plane, and formed the data base for the subsequent analyses. The deformed shape of sheet-blank in the diecavity was then determined according to theovement of punch. From the deformation path, the prediction of stamping defects can be made with the use of design experience In the present study, three modulus: "press tonnage calculation", "cross section shape of sheet-blank"i and "movement of sheet-blank", were developed. Since no mechanics is involved in the analysis, the stress and stain distributions are not available in the program. However, due to the simplicity of the program, it will be of much help to the die engineers for the preliminary design of stamping dies.
