Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 化學工程研究所 === 85 === Part I. The results of two-step coagulation procedure of ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer(EVAL) show that the second phase inversion would occur during the formation of membrane. The second phase inversion only occurs when the first phase inversion is resulted from liquid-liquid demixing. If the particle nuclei are formed in the first bath, there is no chance to proceed the second phase inversion. According to the experiment data and the result of phase diagram of Water-IPA-EVAL system calculated by Flroy-Huggins Theory, we can assure that the ternary interaction term(XT) cannot be neglected in a cosolvent system. The XT is negative when the system shows some cosolvent behaviors. We can also use this way to determine the magnitude of interaction reaction among three components . Part II. In the study of neuron tissue culture, EVAL membranes with three different morphology show better results than the control group, The particulate membrane shows the best result. The porous membrane is the second and the dense membrane is the third. The surface morphology of membrane has influence on the growth of neuron cells.
