The number of faulty nodes tolerated by conventional fault-tolerant multicast schemes is limited strictly, resulting in poor yield rate. This paper proposes a fault-tolerant wormhole multicast scheme for 2D meshes. The proposed scheme just employs local fault information and is working well under the condition of the height of faulty ring being not in excess of three. The proposed scheme is proved to be deadlock-free when we use only twovirtual channels. From the result of simulations, the proposed scheme is shown to offer better yield rate. H. -L.
