Description
Summary:碩士 === 靜宜大學 === 應用化學研究所 === 85 === We have found that Pt/Mn2O3 can catalize the of reaction methanol and acetonitrile to form acrylo-nitrile. The selectivity of acrylonitrile attained 90% and the yield is 41% when Pt(O.O1wt%)/Mn2O3 is used as catalyst at a reaction temperature of 380℃. Increasing the amount of platinum(Pt) loaded on Mn2O3, lengthen the contact time and raising the temperature will cause the yield drop down which indicated that acrylonitrile may further react with methanol to form higher molecules, By using the same catalyst, we also have found that propionitrile may methylized by methainol to produce 2-methyl acrylonitrile. We have also study the physical properties of the catalysts by using BET, FTIR, TPD, XRD. The BET results reveal that the surface area decreased during the period of preparing catalyst, that may be caused by sinterihg. Through the aid of FTIR, we have found that methanol competed with acetonitrile, which adsorbed to the surface of the catalyst and acetonitrile shows less activity, according to the results of TPD experiment. Neither carbon dioxide(CO2) nor pyridine can adsorbed to the surface of the catalyst indicating that the catalyst XRD experiment results proved that as a weak acid and base would change the structure of the catalyst in high temperature.
