Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 電機工程學系 === 86 === This thesis proposes a new method for long-term capacity expansion planning of composite power systems. The proposed method applies the techniques of MonteCarlo simulation, network flow approach, and dynamic programming. It has the capability of determining the timing, size, and location of additional requiredin the studied system to accommodate the expected load growth over the planningperiod. The proposed method uses the Monte Carlo approach to Simulate the outages of generations and transmission lines and the variation of bus loads. Through application of the network flow approach, it is capable of handling the economic dispatch and power flow evaluation. The network flow approach selects a minimumincremental-cost path of the topological graph transformed from source to sink. Incremental cost of the genrators and transmission lines on the path selected isthen re-evaluated. Similar procedures are repeated until all bus loads have beensatisfied or no more available paths can be found. The system capacity expansion planning is accomplished by employing dynamicprogramming and the network flow method. A scheme based on the economic benefitcomparison for alternative selection is used to determine the additonal capacityneeded for each stage of the planning period.
