Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 電機工程學系 === 86 === In this thesis, RF modules with automatic level control are designed for the wireless communications. To satisfy various wireless system requirements, two automatic-level-control led RF modules are implemented: one is a 1.9 GHz PACS RF front-end RF module, and the other is a 0.1-2.6 GHz automatic-level-control RF module used in wireless broadband systems. The 1.9 GHz PACS RF module that is implemented in hybrid MIC forms on a FR4 substrate. Under slow fading propagation channel, the designed receivers can reduce the distortion of the received signal down to 12% with the automatic level control scheme. The transmitting power is up to 24 dBm. For the 0.1-2.6GHz ALC module, it is designed with p type PIN variable attenuators, peak-power detector, and integrators. The implementation procedure of these two modules starts from the system specifications, and then proceeds the sub-circuit partition, component selection, and computer simulation. The integrated tests of the modules are performed with HP-VEE automatic measurement software, which links RF signal generator, network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, vector signal analyzer, and RF channel simulator.
