Summary:碩士 === 中華大學 === 航空太空工程學系 === 86 ===   The purpose of this project is to experimentally study the heat transfer and pressure drop characteristics of developing turbulent flows in a triangular duct with multi-swirled-cooling-jets. The liquid crystal film (LCF) technique will be employed for the local wall temperature and heat transfer coefficientment measurements. Firstly, the thermal entrance length will be determined. Parametric study is to be performed by observing the effccts of Reynolds number on the distributions of pressure and heat transfer coefficients. Moreover, performance comparisons between the present triangular-duct results and the previous rectangular-duct results will be made under equal-pumping-power constraint. Finally, the effect of thermal entry-length on the length mean Nusselt number will also be investigated.   It is hoped that the results obtained from the present study of triangular-duct flow, in conjunction with those obtained and from the previous rectangular-duct flows, may provide useful information for the design of internal cooling passages of the turbine blade.
